Finally finished all main Persona games…

…and that took about as long as I expected.

Started with P3P last October. While travelling in Japan I bought Nintendo Switch and as I wanted to play a good JRPG, P3P seemed like a good choice. Even if it is a bit primitive, I got hooked and finished the game. Would I recommend it? Nah. If I knew it wasn’t “Reloaded” version, I would have skipped it.

P4 Golden is a whole other story however. This one had way more variety, colorful theme and fun, likeable characters. The dungeons in the TV world with twisted versions of known characters were a cool addition.

P5 Royal took me the longest. It’s at the same time the most stylish, most colorful and darkest of the three. The game sticks to similar formula as P4 - one main bad guy each ~month or so with some detours. However the variety and interactivity of side/social activities is way more fun.

I managed to get the “real” ending in each game - not without help from guides. Am I done with Persona? Probably no. I still have P3 Reloaded to play - I don’t think Portable version gave it justice. There are also P5 Strikers and Tactica - both interesting takes on Persona world.
